His
favourite field : creating exotic-inspired decorations, conventionalized
patterns or popular themes. A decorator and a modeller, he knew how to make the
most of his talents in a decorative purpose in the Luneville factory in 1922,
then in 1923 with the MOUGIN brothers, hired to assume the management of the
workshop. When they left in 1933, he stayed on as an artistic counsellor, a job
he also assumed in ST CLEMENT and which ended in 1945. From this career, wedged
up between the two wars, we have a very beautiful production of decorative
earthenware and also pieces covered with small white cracks.
The School of NANCY museum held an exhibition of his works in 1992-1993.
