CLEWS George and CO - CHAMELEON WARE - England

An important factory, famous for its tea-pots, very active from 1906 to 1961.
It essentially made utilitarians and created a scale of artistic and decorative vases, of high quality, with semi-abstract designs and conventionalized natural shapes, under the name of CHAMELEON WARE. In the 50s, it made an interesting series for children, initiated by David HAND pour J. ARTHUR RANK’s organization.
